Looks like I missed a stellar day for a fall ride. Very disappointed, but I did get my folks moved into their new place, so "yay" for me being the good son. Hope to see you all next weekend... weather at this point in time looks (possibly) rideable.

John is spot-on with helmets. What works for me may not work for you. Try a pile on, and once you've found a few that feel good, wear them around the store for as long as they'll let you. You need to be super-comfortable in the helmet because it's really distracting to wear an uncomfortable helmet, ...

Nope. My Dad was running errands up towards Westmount, so we tried to resolve the problem with the few tools I had under the seat (none of which were the right size or shape to drop the carb bowls). When we couldn't do that, we put it into the back of his truck and took it home. Lots of fine sedimen...

Tried to make it down today at 10AM, but was left at the bottom of Groat Road with a blocked pilot on the XS1. See you all at the next one.
