so far i went to time machine and cycle works for OPI's and my scooter and moped are heavily modified and had no issues with either of them. most motorcycle guys look at scooters and kinda laugh which is good for us

belt thickness is kinda important....if your belt is wider than your variator will be partially open all the time

just make sure that the belt is in good condition and make sure that it variates fully. i would also check that the variator face does not have grooves in it. or you could do what i do just get it running and deal with issues as they arise ;)

i'm glad you like it Jon....btw, my smallie is running awesome now too, i put in a shorter primary and a short fourth and the sucker rips to the point where first gear is almost useless.

here are the specs: cylinder: imola exhaust is at 186 and transfers are 125 ish and i can't remember the blow down but i kept it stock carb: 30mm oko ( keihin pwk copy ) exhaust: just a plain old scootrs which i guess is pm copy others: - 13L long range tank - scootrs drop bars - 120 watt bgm stator...
