Brad: A bit cheeky to offer my garage when I'm not around to actually let you in! Can still help out though when I get back.

I don't think Brad is bringing the bikes up as the insurance company has taken over and doesn't want anyone to touch them.

Just in case you think that buying flood damaged scoots would be a cheap way to get a scoot, vehicles that are written off due to flood damage are not repairable and cannot be reregistered for road use, period. Too bad really as scoots are not like a car but you would still have to disassemble EVERYTHING for a thorough cleaning = lots of unpleasant work.

the insurance has picked them up yesterday so its out of my hands now. Unless the decided they are repairable which they doubted but I do appreciate the offer if space. Apparently I have rental coverage on them so I'll be buzzing around town for the short term on a Kimco 150.

Looks like I'll be coming up to Edmonton for the month while they repair our apt building so I'll be able to join you guys for some rides!

Cheers Brad

We have scoots galore up here. Save the rental for when you're in Calgary.

sunny Sunday

Post by Andrew »

What a day for riding to be preempted by bathroom renos! I trust you had a great ride and hope we have another such Sunday soon--

On the positive side, the bathrooms are now nearly done, 10 months after renos ceased with the start of the school year last September... so she had a right to demand my attention today!
