Chrome (what can I say...it's an obsession)

Post by LibertineAudrey »

I might want/desperately need to get something chromed. Does anyone have any recommendations as to where to go to get that done? Usually I'd go for quality, but in this case CHEAP is preferable.

Cheers

When it comes to chrome cheap is not the way to go, because it looks like crap in no time. I suggest fairmont plating on the south side actually it's the only place that i suggest. keep in mind that turn around times depending on the parts in question could be anywhere between 4-6 weeks.

I agree with Angelo. Pleasure deferred is preferable to lingering regret.

True points... it's just and itsy bitsy piece that I might want chromey, but if cheap chrome will look crap on it, then you guys are right, I should go for quality.

Thanks for the recommendation, Angelo. I will be sure to look them up as soon as I make up my little mind.

^_^ Cheers

Which raises the point that it is almost always cheaper to buy a new chrome piece than to get the old piece (re)chromed.

well... I don't really want something re-chromed, I just want it chromed for the first time around. I haven't been able to find what I want/need exactly pre-fabricated. :\
