Well as you all know, OC was running like a bag-o-nails. Last fall I had slipped in a 20 idle and it was just not happy at all: stalling after ten seconds of idling, loading up and not wanting to clear.
When I got back from our ride -- went to Top Gear and dropped off the posters -- I pulled the carb and put back the 12.5 idle that was there before. I also switched out the needle jet to a Q-2 from a Q-0. Much better! Back to its happy idling ways and it pulls much cleaner in the bottom end.
Frankly I think that is all she wrote. The M1 kit is just too damn radical to be happy running in the low end. It pulls like a banshee mid to top and I am going to have to live with the rest.
