Where can I go to fix my frontrack?

Any suggestions where I can try to have my front rack fixed? it needs a tiny little bracket type thingy made and welded back on, and then I would want said bracket thingy to be chrome like the rest of the rack.

It's not quite so simple. First take the rack to the chrome shop to have it stripped. Then fabricate and weld on the bracket (brazing is probably a better idea). Then back to the chrome shop for plating.

I would gladly perform the fabrication and brazing gratis. Be warned, however, that the chroming will cost more than a new rack though you can mod the rack to exactly what you want.

That's kind of upsetting, because I would hate to just toss an otherwise very useable item. Maybe I will take you up on the offer to fix what you can, and go from there.
