I took the SR out for a night ride with a friend in the west end tonight. T'was good, apparently it supposed to be above 7 degrees by April 10th now, but weather network also says wet snow that week too. Oh how the weather gods torment us.

Have a good trip! be safe! Wear your helmet in the +28 weather!

We have already decided that we are taking off next year for spring break somewhere hot! The winters sure are getting to me over the past few years!

Though we are not doing that this year, I highly recommend it!

Have a good time, Graham!

I spotted a red Derbi on the road today, travelling eastbound on 87 avenue at 149 st. Derbi Atlantis I believe. Was that anyone on here?

Actually, it might have been a Derbi Boulevard.

I know meetings are normally supposed to be the second weekend of the month, but is anyone heading to Tra Amici today?

Sorry two late night Casino shifts in a row and then a quick blast down to the swap meet in Red Deer for a quick visit and return. (Sorry Dale, I was with my boss). Then set-up for a sidewalk astronomy night at the CL. Much to my son's delight, the astronomer was a drop dead gorgeous she. I kept expecting Pierce B. to pop in and then both to dash off to Washington to Save the World.

Have an interesting lead on another long term project that will absolutely delight me and dismay my wife no end.

I'm Back Baby!!!!

Yes, after a long winter of working at the hospital on the weekends to get my volunteer hours up, I'm glad to say that my Sundays are now more free! I never told any of you guys but the reason I have been away so long was to get my volunteering in good standing because this fall I will be studying Social Work at Mount Royal College in Calgary! I'm going to be moving there this summer, and it works out great because my girlfriend and Mom live there too. I need to get to a meeting soon, it's been too long!

Speaking of meetings, when I do arrive I will be on the Vino as she's ready to go! I charged the battery tonight and took it for a spin down to Whyte Ave and back and it was great. I had no gravel problems as the gravel on the major streets seems to be pushed to the sides, but it still looks kinda bad in residential areas. Coming down the hill between Gateway Blvd and the bridge was kinda scary, though, there's a lot of long gouges in the road that will need to be fixed this year so if you're going to be riding there be careful. All in all, though, I'm just really glad to get back on the bike and say goodbye to public transportation until next winter. Hope you all are doing well, see you soon. :)

First ride on Orange Crushed today: stepped out twice on corners and got a bit squirrelly on acceleration.

BE CAREFUL !!
