I'm in love

Post by Angelo »

Was at argyll this afternoon picking up a summer ridiing jacket. I made the mistake and stopped by the Ducati section. Frick I'm in love. For the first time in a long time I had a brief moment of weakness and considered sellin both my bikes, just to buy one....I love the GT with the shorty fairing.....damn.......then I remembered that they aren't 2 strokes, So I said screw it and walked out....

Different heads, some welding, a little porting work and, presto, a two stroke Ducati!

I came pretty close to falling on my sword over the GT1000, my favourite of all of the retro clones. The only odd thing is how high off the wheel the rear fender is. But you can forgive a flaw or two for such beauty, non?

Well, so long as you're able to deal with the consequences... I'm not sure which of you I'd put money on in a fair fight...or even an unfair one. That's my only concern. ^_^
