Vespa Sprint 1969 - For Sale (link to ad in text)

Post by barbaraw999 »

I have a dark blue Vespa Sprint 150cc from 1969 that I don't ride anymore. It is time it finds a new home.
The Vespa is in great condition, it got a new exhaust when I registered it in Alberta and I haven't driven it much since. It has no signal lights (it was importet from Switzerland, where signal lights where not required), I've always used hand signals.
I thought I would reach out to this group first and see if there migth be interest out there and what you thought would be a fair price for the Vespa.
Thanks for any feedback.
Barbara

Thanks for the info. I have posted the Vespa on Kijiji in case anyone in this group is interested.

Hi Barbara, all the best with your sale.

I don't have the exact date in front of me but signals were not required in Alberta on motorcycles/scooters until the early 70s. So no worries there. Has it had an out-of-province inspection?

Value is a tough one. Certainly selling in spring should help. If it looks good and runs well, then somewhere in the $2500 to $3500 range sounds right to me. Here are a few scooter sales sites that might help you establish an asking price:

Do keep in mind though that asking prices are often not the same as selling prices.
