In the biz we call red: "retail red" as customers (middle-aged males) can't seem to resist the colour, a bit like crows and shiney things. Strangely, women do not go for red. It makes you owner what the men are up to...

Another correct colour is white:

Ig and I are both partial to the white John...but I love my little white car so may be biased. ;)

Janet likes the white, too. Well like is a strong word for her phrase: "White makes the Europa less ugly."

How about some Lotus yellow pin striping on the BR green?
Good "home colours" and might get you some free tickets to see the Edmonton Eskimos.
I had been wondering if pin striping could help with the look of the car, but I'm not so sure now :?
This might be a bigger challenge than building the car!

I agree Angelo (and John), dark colours so not suit the Lotus (sorry Trevor;-).

This car has me entertaining colours that I would never consider on another vehicle; yellow, and white being two (even orange  )

Agreed dark colours are out which leaves red or blue, and possibly white. I won't paint it a colour that wasn't available for it, doingf otherwise is always a big mistake.

I'm still leaning towards the blue, Janet likes the white and, well, I'd be a fool to paint it anything but red if I intend to sell it -- especially as it is an originally red car.

Damn, nothing settled yet.
