Alley Po'Boys at Creole Envie, Tuesday Sept 10th

There haven't been many "Alley Burger" events this summer but there is an "Alley Po'Boy" event tomorrow (Tues Sept 10th) at Creole Envie - 6509 112 Avenue.

Here are the details!

September 10
6:00 pm 'till the po'boys are gone!
Final Back Alley Po'Boy of 2013

Po'Boys $10 cash! Back Alley Only!

3 choices:
Fried Pickle (V)
Blackened Gulf Scallops
Alligator "slider"

I think I will try the Alligator!

I will bug the Chef at 100 Bar + Kitchen to see if he is going to do an Alley Burger event soon.

It was great! I got there 8 minutes after it started and the Chef had sold 31 Po'Boys already. She sold 31 in the first 6 minutes and was completely out of the Alligator. I managed to get a Blackened Scallop Po'Boy and it was very very good.

That's it for this year she said. She will do this again starting in March 2014!

I haven't tried the Chef at 100 Bar + Kitchen to see if he is doing an Alley Burger soon but I will check on it!
