Is there gonna be a rally this year? Huh? Well? IS there?

You know there OUGHTA be a rally this year eh.

Cuz you know, like, there used to be a rally EVERY year! Didn't there?

It'd be really AWESOME if there was a rally this year!

I agree!

But I am too darn busy to organize a full rally.

How about a super-special, one-day event with an prior evening meet & greet and a post-obliteration breakfast?

No shirts, posters or patches unless someone else wants to do that. Heck we have enough left-overs we could have a hand-me-down rally and give away all our left-overs for free.

I think we should do something in Jasper again, separate from the rally, maybe just organize a club weekend. The riding was amazing!

As for a rally/one-day-special-event, as always, I am willing to do a web page when/if we have something to put up.

Cheers,
Bradley

Ok then, let's get going.

May is iffy (and I think many are headed to the Victoria rally). July and August we all scatter so that leaves our traditional June. There are four weekends available:

7 & 8

14 & 15 (also Father's Day)

21 & 22

28 & 29 (Canada Day is the following Tuesday)

Pick a weekend.

I, entirely arbitrarily, suggest the 21 & 22.

Let's have an informal meet and greet on the Friday and Saturday mornings. Ride, ride, ride on Saturday. Go to a club or hold a bbq Saturday night. And another informal brunch Sunday morning.

No fee, no prizes (except maybe funny ones?), no trophies and we'll give away their choice of an old rally shirt.

Patches we'll leave to Angelo and Igor. May I suggest the "What the F**k Rally".

How does that sound?

Oh, and we have a pile of dough in our super, secret stash ($3K+, I think) so no worries about the no fee.

My vote is for "What the f**k rally".

My June is free although I was tempted to go to the Idaho rally on June 21 & 22, but will fore go it if those dates are picked for an Eville Rally.

Working on theme's with Igor as mentioned loosely earlier. I dont think we need to rush into anything since all we will be making is Patches.

We'll kick a few ideas around at this Sunday's workshop. We need to hear before then if anyone is not ok with 21 & 22 !

Bad news, I'm now not good for that weekend. James finishes school and we're gone early Saturday morning. I have the funds, prizes and the shirts sod make sure ZI get them to someone before I'm gone!

Is there still going to be a Rally? I have been out of the loop. Work and such have soaked up all of my spare time and as of today new responsibilites at work leave me with zero planning time. Im not aware of any solid plans.

There were other choices of weekend. We just have to pick a different one. Is 7th/8th June doable for us?
