I dug this article up when I was responding to a picture Gillian put up on facebook of Sabine looking very Hunter S Thompson. I thought the article had already been posted here but a quick search turned up nothing.
TBH I am not a huge fan of Mr. Thompson's work but for some reason this quick hitter about falling madly for a Ducati 900 struck a chord with me. Don't let the suggestive address throw you. It really is about motorcycles and not latex and sausage.

Ralph Steadman was Thompson's long time and almost exclusive illustrator, accompanying him on many of his, ahh, adventures. I always thought they were mirror images of each other. |
