Today's literary treat by H.S. Thompson

Post by coyoteran »

I dug this article up when I was responding to a picture Gillian put up on facebook of Sabine looking very Hunter S Thompson. I thought the article had already been posted here but a quick search turned up nothing.

TBH I am not a huge fan of Mr. Thompson's work but for some reason this quick hitter about falling madly for a Ducati 900 struck a chord with me. Don't let the suggestive address throw you. It really is about motorcycles and not latex and sausage.

Happy Friday everybody.

A brilliant article indeed, the author was completely whacked.

The illustration that came with the article was out there as well but it suited the writing:

Ralph Steadman was Thompson's long time and almost exclusive illustrator, accompanying him on many of his, ahh, adventures. I always thought they were mirror images of each other.
