On my way to breakfast this morning I had a chance to do a high speed run on the Whitemud Freeway. Road was level and conditions were warm, humid with no wind. I slid back on the seat and lowered myself into a semi-crouching position but not so low as to have the bottom of my helmet hitting the headset. The stock speedometer buried itself in short order (120+ kph) but my adapted bicycle computer only indicated 95 kph at that point. Buried the throttle and, while still slowly gaining speed, hit a true 109 kph before I ran out of room. And that is with a main jet at least one or two steps too rich.
That's it for me. I will dial in the carb and call it a completed bike.
