Sunday May 6

Post by jbcollier »

So far looks to be sunny and warm, fingers and toes firmly crossed. Let's try another new place.

Square 1 Coffee
15 Fairway Dr

(south of the Whitemud on 119 St, first right after 40 Ave)

Feeling foolishly optimistic about the weather, let's meet at 10 am.

Ride to follow.

Pre-ride starts at my place at 10

Square 1 is a great spot. Too bad it's so far south for our northern friends.

They appreciate the warmer weather down here in the south.

PS: When are you finished fixing the refinery?

Well besides missing out on seeing you guys, I dont think I would have missed the trip...40 Ave? that's almost 200 blocks of traveling from my address...

At that point why not make it sylvan lake?

P.S Thanks David for watching out for the northern folk

May 18th is the scheduled "start-up" date.
With the entire plant being down, "start-up" will take several days at least.
Hope to be free to ride by May long.

How about we find a northern lake to ride to?
But, not too far north.

So if pre-ride starts at 10am what time will everyone get to Square 1? I just had someone say they wanted to drop by.

Lovely riding for both rides! Just the two Johns for the pre-ride and Graham, Paul, Ano and Phil joined for the post ride with Mike coming just for the meet and greet.

John had two (!) breakfast sandwiches so he heartily approves. Angelo is right though that it is too far south for a regular meeting spot.

We'll try another new spot next week. Suggestions welcome.

Great to see some faces from last year and a new one. Fabulous ride and hopefully the first of many warm, sunny rides in 2018.
