Lord Thundering Jesus. I'm gonna have this thing seized before its even broken in.
I know John, you said its tuff to resist, but JESUS, never in my life did i think it was going to be this tuff.
Even at 1/3 throttle trying to being nice to it, it accelerates like stink. Compared to the old stock motor that is. I can't even imagine what Johns' M1 kit is like.

Congrats Kevin! Glad the carb arrived in time. The two port 125 was never much to write home about, 16/16 carb and all, so I am not surprized its goes like stink in comparison. Take it easy though (thus speaks the man who seized two engines in a row). You could bump the oil to 3% for the first few 100 klicks or so though no high speed work as increasing the oil content leans the mixture.
My long awaited needle jet is on its way so we will have to swap bikes and compare the two when they are both broken and dialled in.
Man it will be nice to see the blue badge on the road again!
