Must be trying to land in Frankfurt. 1997 I experienced the same type of approach, except our pilot actually made the landing, I'm glad we had the 12hr lay over, it took me that long too clean up.....

Nice save...if the laft wing tip had touched grass it would have been over for sure.

Even without touching the left wing, I'm surprised that the plane didn't careen off to the right after the tires grabbed on impact. I'm betting there was a change of undergarments for those in the cockpit!
