I would agree with you "kenvb". Having someone look at the vehicle before buying is wise. I didn't have that option, so I relied on the pictures, and many conversations that I had with the sellers (and my own gut feeling) before sending any money.
The two scooters I bought from the U.S. were just as the sellers had described, one was a running scoot, the other was not. Just lucky?-probably.
Sorry your experience wasn't a good one. How about the other 5 bikes that you bought?
