Ok, so the family was up and on the road at 0645 this morning to catch a Pacific Whale Foundation boat to go snorkeling at Molokini and Lanai.
Great foundation. Take tourist money and put it to an NPO vs a stockholder. But the winds were up and Molokini was not that impressive. High waves and very few choral structures and fish.
Waves and wind killed Lanai as well. Cool photos but no snorkeling. So, we made the long sail back to Maui to swim 20 minutes from where we set sail. Great reefs, calm waters, lotsa fish, saw about 15 great green sea turtles. Fantastic.
On a totally unrelated note.....passed Chris Noth (Law and Order cop)and his wife on the way to the boat this AM. It's official. Char and I are now part of the Glitterati....pls....no autographs. hehehhehe
Sunburnt, dispite hats, shade and sunscreen, tired and raring to go for tomorrow.
