Monday Motorcycle (and Scooter) Madness 2012 (aka Free Gas!)

The Bear radio station and CycleWorks are doing their Monday Motorcycle Madness promotion again this summer.

I emailed a DJ at the Bear to ask if they are doing Monday Motorcycle again this year. He said they will be kicking it off next week (Monday, June 4th)!

For those that don't know, Every Monday they will announce a secret location where everyone meets at 7pm and they fill your bikes up for free. I think this years sponsor is Husky/Mohawk again so it will be at one of their stations around the City. They usually have some other prize give-aways each week, and then more prizes and a grand-prize on the last night as well.

So if you listen to 100.3 the Bear and hear of the location post it here. They usually announce it around 10am each Monday morning.

It usually runs until mid to late August so if you fill-up once a week usually you can probably get free gas for the next few months.

Monday Motorcycle (and Scooter!) Madness for June 4, 2012

Runs for the next 8 weeks.

The kick-off is at 7:00pm tonight at Cycleworks 5688 - 75 Street.

The first Monday Motorcycle Madness was a big success. We got there at 6:45 and this was the line-up. They got everyone filled-up by 8pm though. There was bbq hotdogs, a band, freebies, and a prize draw (a Stanley Toolbox which we are still waiting for our call). You also get to fill out a ballot each week for the grand prize draw which they do on the last week of the event.

Well, discovered my rain suit isn't sealed any longer. Glad to find out now, rather than on a road trip!

We should have brought jerry cans… they had so much fuel left over, they were filling all the shop vehicles, tank, cars, trucks… it was crazy!
