How much is too much....

For a mint condition, original paint, %100 servicable 1974 Sprint V. 150 cc, oil injected, battery bike with points for ignition. Body and floors are straight.
Engine just freshly rebuilt and only 1200 miles on the entire rig.

Any thoughts.

Are you thinking of adding a "new" family member?

Sounds like a nice addition.

Is it on Ebay?

No, it belongs to a guy here in the springs. He has too many white vespas so he is unloading this one. This thing doesn't have a significant mark on it.

I decided to walk away. But if anybody is interested, I can help. Asking 3500 I think although that may be open to negotiation.

Too many bikes already. I have gotten used to the P's "reliability", practicality and relative speed over what the sprint would bring to the table.

A truck, a car and three scooters is more than enough for what is soon to be a 2 person household.

I am with Trevor. I have more than enough scoots. BUT, I can't stop looking.

Perhaps I do need a slower bike. $165 speeding ticket on the P coming to work this A.M. Pain in the ass to be certain. What almost made it worthwhile though was, by the time the ticket was written, I had 2 Colorado Springs PD and 1 Pueblo County Sherrif surrounding me and my bike. No guns were drawn but it did seem a tad excessive for a lone Canadian on a 33 year old Italian motorscooter.

Keep am shiny...and SLOW DOWN! :)

edit...public math sux. 2012-1979=33 not 31...duh.

Listen. The fact that you got the ticket sucks big time, but the story is almost worth the 165. You didn't slap them with any al-dent spaghetti did you?
