Apparently he is completely barking mad

Post by jbcollier »

I am looking at a 90SS project. Early days, probably others interested and You-Know-Who doesn't yet. If it falls through, there is a Jet 200 in Vancouver and...

Yup, it isn't going to get any cheaper than that for an SS. Missing some key bits but the price reflects that. No title either and I sure know what headaches that is going to entail...

Maybe I should relax, get therapy and just ride what I got :-)

Still going back and forth on the SS. Hasn't got around to (or won't) giving me the serial numbers of the body and engine yet. Also trying to find out if he has a bill of sale. Otherwise he sent more pictures and it all looks about the way it should.

Things are still bouncing back and forth. Further photos show the legshield is a bit rough. The body will need stripping and redoing but it still seems a good price for an SS.

Deposit paid and seller is working on the title.

I guess I own a 90 SS now.

That settles things.......I am green with envy. Really happy for you John, I guess that means you can scratch one item off the "want" list...

Very Cool.

When is the road trip?

No dates yet. Remember how long it took to sort things out last time.
