New Bike

Post by Rick »

Just wanted to let everyone know about my new bike I just bought. Kevin let me know of a Small Frame 100 Sport in the bargain finder. He came out to Stony Plain to look at it with me. Initially the guy wanted 1400.00 for it but we ended up getting it for 850.00. Sweet Deal, it needs a little TLC and Kevin who is the small frame expert will be helping me fix er up. Hopefully it will be on the Road in the next few weeks. I'm thinking about turning it into a Halloween theme bike, What are everyone's thoughts on that?? I try and post a pic ASAP as soon as I figure out this forums stuff.
So special thanks to Kevin for The delivery and looking at the bike for me couldn't have done it without him.

Great find, I still thought that there are some good finds in the rural areas, this is proof!

I think we already have a very Orange small frame in town don't we?? :D

Great deal, I actually know the seller. Tyler, right? Flat black with some problems with the kickstart? I was talking to him the day he was putting it up for sale. He told me he was going to list it at $1600, had I known he'd let it go for that price I'd have beat you to it!

Rick, I'll help you out a bit.

Goto the main website page and hit the Gallery link. Sing up for a Gallery account and store your pictures there.

Its not an accurate representation.
I believe this is a "before" someone had their way with it picture. If it was in this kinda shape (put on a plate and take a test ride) then it might have been worth what the seller was asking.

...and of course you don't want anyone to know your real name until you actually make it out to a meeting?

I guess we are losing a Pirate, so a replacement was due.

We lost the pirate already, Bruce and Tori in theory should have been unpacking the van, that i helped pack, yesterday afternoon in Kelowna.

Nah, just f-ing around. My names Kevin, and I have a bluebadge. Through my observations I've found that this may cause some confusion.

Ahh,

I think Tyler mentioned you when I went to pick up the bike for Rick.

You just recently got your scoot from the States or down south somewhere right?

If so, then i shall formally welcome you to the forums.

Yep, I drove down to Portland to get my bike! It was quite the rad road trip, and the bike was the icing on the cake. Importing it was rather painless, and I'd do it again for sure. The scoot has been a blast so far!

Thanks for the warm welcome! i don't think I'll have a problem holding up the pirate end of things around here.
