Invitation: First GVVR Camping Rally June 27-29th, 2008

Post by Roy »

Hello,

it has been a while since I have been on your forum.

Looks like we are all starting to think about our rally plans for 2008, which is why I wanted to let you know that the Greater Vancouver Vespa Riders (GVVR) is planning the first GVVR Rally in the Valley in June 2008.

We are not planning on replacing or competing with the Vancouver Labour Day Scooter Rally. Our rally will be quite different and our rides and events will take place outside the city, in the valley, which offers great (long) rides on scenic valley roads. Furthermore, we are planning the rally as a scooter camping rally at one of the many beautiful parks here in the valley, which should be great fun.

While we still have to work out all the details, we have already set a date. The rally is planned to take place the weekend of June 28/29th.

We look forward welcoming many of you at our rally and hope for your support and help in spreading the word for us.

Cheers.
Roy.

Sorry, had to adjust the date to June 27-29th...I didn't notice the conflict with Scooter Insanity (Seattle).

So please adjust your rally plans and come down to meet us the week after your own rally....could be a good time to relax and have some fun riding and camping with friends ;)

We have made some good progress with our rally planning and have recently updated our rally web page.

We want to send all of you our new/updated rally invitation with additional information regarding rally pack pre-sale and hope that some of you will consider including our Camping Rally in your rally plans for this year.
I am sure you will not regret it!
