Teacher disqualified and fined after ramming motorcyclist in rush hour frenzy

A MOTORIST who repeatedly shunted a commuters's motorbike while in a rush to get to work has been handed a driving ban and hefty fine.
Christopher Parker, a teacher from Leeds, rammed his Volvo into Robert Hill's BMW motorcycle in order to bully the biker out of his way, Leeds Crown Court heard.

The incident was spotted by a police motorcyclist, who arrested Parker and charged him with dangerous driving.

Parker told Police: "I'm in a hurry."

In court, Parker, of Keddleston Road, Roundhay, denied dangerous driving but was fined £1,000 with £750 costs and banned for a year. He will also have to take an extended driving test when his ban ends.

A fine? I would have preferred, "shot on site by police."

People need to sit back and take a breather once in a while.

Surely a decent lawyer could have argued for an attempted manslaughter charge, no?

The psychology of people in cars is absolutley baffling. They could be the nicest people in the world until you put them in their own private mini-tank. Scary stuff, man.
If you can't chrome it, curry it.
If you can't curry it, throw it away.
