Looking for smallframe

Post by jbcollier »

Looking for another smallframe. I would prefer another 100 Sport but anything this side of '66 would be considered.

Ping me at jbcollier at shaw.ca if you know of any.

Thanks!

Wow!

You guysngals are fast! I was hoping for something a little closer to home. And definately NOT an SS as this is for a friend who likes to potter about.

The Ohio one is perfect except for the distance. I suppose I could get the seller to pull the engine and ship the whole lot as parts...

OK, I am talking to the chap in Ohio with the blue Primavera. Shipping is a problem as Forward Air will not ship motorcycles from the US into Canada due to unspecified problems with customs. Any suggestions?

Thanks again

But their prices seem a little silly at $960

How much was Forward Air approx?

I also did an Online quote with

http://www.freightcenter.com/

From Columbus, Ohio to Edmonton, Alberta they quoted $248.14.
Assuming that the fellow can build a crate 60x36x36 to drop the scoot in.

I'm not sure how accurate this freight cost is and if any extras will be tacked on. But it wouldn't hurt to give them a call.

Another option would be to ship to Montana somewhere and drive down to pick it up. http://www.shippingmasters.com/rates.asp displays a Rate of $430 minus a bit if one supplies a crate.

John,

A 100 Sport popped up recently on the VespaClub of Canada main site.

Also John.

A fellow on the ScooterBBS (Corey Fraser) scooterfix AT gmail DOT com has two smallies listed.

I'm not sure if he still has them or price, but at least he is in Ottawa, Ontario.

Hi Kevin,

I am going to kill you after I murder you!

:-)

This morning I bought the blue Primavera out of Ohio. It should be a little over $2100CAN by the time it I get it to my door step. I am shipping it to dealership in a small town in Montana.

So there will be a road trip in roughly three to six weeks.
