My scooter is also big fan of the Husky/Mohawk premium and runs like a dream on it.

Do be aware however, that a lot of "premium" gasolines have additives that can potentially gum up a tiny scooty engine.

When you say the engine stalls, are there any lights on the dash?

Perhaps also check the battery connections. I know of an ET2 that was having a similiar issue - turns out it was a faulty kill switch.
