The main character, Pinkie, isn't actually a member of a scooter gang. But he does steal a scooter from outside a Brighton hotel ( a direct grab from Quadrophenia). Just checked out the Laurier location. Beautiful place really. As has been noted: plenty of parking to boot. They did a really nice job revitalizing the strip, it was pretty run-down not too long ago.

And is indeed such a nice day for a ride too! In fact, I just realized how much work I have to get done about town. So I shan't be riding today
