Blue XL Corazzo 5.0 Jacket

I'm looking to get rid of my X-Large Blue Corazzo 5.0 jacket. Has seen VERY light use, and is in near mint condition. Looking to get rid of it as it's too big and I haven't worn it in over a year. They retail for ~$260 and I'm looking to get $100. http://www.corazzo.net/images/products/5_0/Corazzo_2...

For Vespa headsets what is your opinion of those straps? I've read conflicting reports online. Some people swear by them, others not because they've seen snapped headsets.. We're just trying to get our rigging figured out for the trip to Jasper, and other rallies.

With Sparkle Motion idling beside me and my helmet muffling everything else its hard to hear how slow my bike is idleing, I've got a habit of blipping it a bit. :P The rolling shutter effect really shows with those vibrations. Other mount location I saw online that was cool was just off to the side ...

Thanks! I kind of want to see the headset in the videos. I don't like the idea of mounting the camera to my helmet. The only other option is the chest mount.. I'm not sold on that either though.

Ride Video

I snagged a video with my gopro from two weeks ago and have it on the youtubes. I just rendered our Groat run. I'm working on different mounting viewpoints at the moment, as well as getting my mac to edit and render this 1080p video nicely.

I'm running my tires ~18psi front and 28-30psi rear. They seem to be good thus far.

I however am not brave enough to go handsfree on my scooter.

Weird, mine drops revs right away when I close the throttle. I know only a little on Vespa(rally specific) and nothing with regards to Lambretta, so I don't have anything I can say to help diagnose. John knows best. Good to hear you've got it out and about though! I missed a few shifts my first time...

My Rally is like that. Angelo and John said it's because I don't have a return spring. I consider it an archaic form of cruise control. :P

Not sure if your Lammy would have one or not. Did you have fun clutching and shifting?

Had a lot of fun on Sunday! I'm excited for our next ride. Going to do some practising this week and hopefully I'll have no wheelies or mis-shifts this time. :P

Guess what?!? The rally passed! Rode it home today and went for a quick ride with Audrey this afternoon.

Only one question I have. You typically have to pay for a plate on top of your registration do you not? I only paid $65 for the plate and registration till 2013. :O

I contacted Angelo's suggested place. Lady I spoke with was really nice, they quoted me $207. I've been riding since '07 and its fairly basic coverage, which I'm ok with. My Derbi costs about the same. Probably going to set that up tomorrow. I doubt it gets any cheaper.

Insurance?

I searched the forum, but there was no recent relevant data. Who is everyone insured through at the moment for their vintage scoots? My auto insurer(TD) will not insure any motorcycle over 30 years old. I've contacted Blue Circle to get a quote as I was initially with them years ago.
