I got it pretty hot when i put it in first round. When it comes out i will check the depth of the shoulder on the bearing. Oh and do you recommend a red or white with that .

yes i thought i should spend a little more on the Italian verses the SIL .
I dont want to try and pound it in any more. i may try and cut it out and try another one

should the final drive bearing sit flush with the outside of the case? mine sticks out over a mm. froze the bearing heated the case but it was tight .
I used a silent block to drift it in but it never"changed tone" as i was banging it in to let me know it had seated.

Thanks Shannon i know the rally is a fairly loose affair and that the
dates not set in stone . We may be on our way back from the coast
it would be fun to stop in
