Did many people make it? Unfortunately I didn't see the post until later, and Monica is in Calgary so she couldn't make it either. Hope to see everyone at a future meeting! It's nice to be able to get out on the scooter again.

I did get out for a little ride this afternoon. Tons of gravel and drivers are pretty inattentive to the 2-wheelers on the road. Then I had a young guy on a cell phone who was also not paying attention to his surrounding vehicles and he drifted into my lane a few times. Good thing I was giving him a wide berth.

Johnny Redbike and I inspected repairs to the new bridge from both sides and risked the gravel to ride out to that new cafe in the Crestwood Plaza on 142 Street, where the coffee was good -- but we were both younger than anyone else in there except the baristas.
