I highly recommend Motul 2 stroke oil because it's French and France is Canada's mother country.

The ASC 2stroke gurus seem to recommend BelRay and buy the stuff by the caseload anytime they can get their greedy hands on it.

I'm always told to stay away from the strawberry scented 2stroke oil. Yes, it does exist. Yes, I've tried it. And honestly, I've never noticed a difference in any 2stroke oil. It's all hype as far as I'm concerned. A bunch of brand conscious nutters...

THAT is exactly the reason I chose it, too! No, really!

Thanks for the info ^_^

Strawberry 2T oil

Post by Macgyyver »

Ok gang, attaching this to the old thread so folks can get the whole scoot. Anyone who's ridden behind Graham (and he knows) might consider getting another postal code to ride in.

Hi All. Phil from Andre's Motorcycle Accessory Centre in Calgary has offered to bring in some Strawberry 2-stroke oil.

I for one ordered some already, but if the folks from the club want to order, I'll bring it back with me on one of my trips to Calgary in the next couple of weeks. And no, I don't think anyone dares call me Paget - besides, do I have a bevvie in a glove - EVER?

Your friend, was recently browsing kimpex's interactive presentation and thought you might like this: Moto_2010_En Price from Phil - 13.99 is regular price. no minimum but sales of 12 would get 10% off for club members. ask for Phil phone # here: http://www.chrometoys.com/

Running a stock bike? Doesn't matter too much as long as the oil is rated as OK for your application: that is pre-mix in a premix scoot and injector oil in a...

Running a hopped up scoot? Synthetic racing oil period.

Got my oil - it's just fine

Gotta say, maybe my Vino has a better stink, but the strawberry isn't bad at all. Probably due to a lack of smoke cloud in the first place.

I'll get Paul to ride behind and see what colour he turns after a spin.

Someone in Calgary taught me that I can put my scooter in neutral, open the throttle, and then open the choke up, and it makes an awful lot of smelly blue mess in the air. Not sure I want to try to pretty something like that up any XD.

Not that I would do something like that. Just saying that if I WERE that type, strawberry might take away the effect.

But I'm not that type

Honest.

That'd just be rude.
