Thank you!

Post by nocattle »

I just want to thank Crude City for putting on another great rally.
You guys rock!

Not going to sugar coat this. I know there was a lot of complaining, but it's all good. Seriously. While 60miles on a long straight 60mph highway out in the hot sun isn't exactly getting the full potential out of tight length 10" wheels with air cooled engines, however it does push underpowered engines and to their full limits (and apparently their drivers as well). Still, I know the intentions were good, and we avoided many potholes by getting out of the city. I want to thank Rick and the other organizers for this effort.

One thing you Crudes really do well is providing escorts. No condoms but lots of escorts taking visitors through your confusing city to their destination, and even giving them a place to crash on little to no notice. I don't know of too many escorts doing that.

Big thanks to our escorts....
Shannon,
Audrey,
Anita,
Kevin,
Graeme,
Jeff,
I hope I didn't leave any escorts out.

And I want to thank anyone who hit Boy with a broom this weekend.

And I want to thank Angelo for getting me a croissant as good as any in the 13th arrondissement.

I want to thank Trevor for looking like Charlie Brown in the sun and yet looked exactly like Tor from Plan9OuterSpace in the shade. It was creepy. I will miss you. Good luck in the biggest bombproof closet in the world. Say hi to Jim Morrison, Jimmy Hoffa and Elvis for me. I know for a fact that's where they store the Roswell spacecraft. Area51 is just a distraction.

A big high five to everyone suckered into the marketing genius of KISS. Hope we see you at Calgary's Garage Sale. Did I mention I have a bunch of extra ET2 parts?

BTW, squirt gunning is not a crime. Fireworks are, but only in certain jurisdictions.

Calgary Rally Needs a KISS fan!

Post by jgreeno »

Hey ... its the ET2 KISS guy James. I was just down in Calgary picking up a new LX150 for my wife (the Edmonton rally was enough to convince her to get a bigger bike). So when we attend the Calgary rally we should be in a much better position to keep up! I hope to have my new muffler and rollers done on the ET2 by then.

That is SO awesome! Congrats on the new bike, I hope she enjoys it. I'm glad to see you guys are planning on making the Calgary rally too. Sounds...like...you could be addicted.

Addicted

We are TOTALLY addicted. She can haul some ass in the LX150. No more back of the pack for her. I think this is it for her. That bike has more power than she will ever use. She is still a bit shy above 80KM/H.
