Apologies to Spinal Tap.
Apparently these units will be for sale "soon". Not cheap I'll bet.

It is available now from either Tino Sacchi (lambretta.it) or Cambridge Lambretta.
Cost.
May I suggest you sit down first?
Eight thousand euros which translates into eleven thousand eight hundred fifty three dollars and 40 cents.
It comes as a complete turn key engine including all electronics, carbs, filters and exhaust. It goes into a stock Lambretta with no mods required.
My only disappointment is with the exhuast. Siamesing the exhaust into one expansion chamber is a poor compromise. I understand why they did it. But it would be nice to have two separate exhausts. It would make a huge power difference. They don't have to end up in the same place. One could go straight forward though you would have to make do with just a sidestand.
