Hey Everyone, I'm new to Scootering and just purchase a '78 150 Super - it needs a bit o-love to pass the out of province (got it from Sask. where it was registered and ridden). It was missing some bits in the front (speedo cable, brakes need some work, ect). Igor came and gave the bike a look over, noticed that the wheel didn't have a stop in one direction but otherwise thought it to be in decent condition... I was taking a look at the horn, and pulled it off and noticed a crack in the casing on the steering column. I took it apart and found this... It doesn't appear to have cracked the bar, only the casing... is it as bad as it looks? Do I/ Should I get a new one?
I also need to get some turn signals, it doesn't look like the bike ever had any(?) Igor suggested The Bar Ends from SIP. It looks like they're small frame(?) only, how do I know which ones to get? (as there are a few, and no measurements)
As well, I don't have my Class 6, any suggestions for a place to take a class from?
and not to ramble, The Super doesn't look 'normal'.. it has a trapezoid head, checking online it looks like it could be a VBC Euro Spec MK2?
