Last ride of the year today.
I rode the rig in the salt and muck last month when I was temporarily out of cars. I promised to clean her up before tucking her away for the winter. Too cold, too warm and the holidays delayed that until today. Rode to the carwash on 116 and 107, cleaned up beautifully, drained the gas from the tank and carbs and tucked her away with a trickle charger beside, quietly humming.
Not absolutely sure, but I think I was the only other motorcycle on the road.
If you can't ride yours at least give her a big wet kiss to thank her for all the joy she brought this year.
