Ok, so it goes something like this. I know oil injectors are supposed to meter out oil in a uniform fashion that in some minds is a better way to go than mixing. But after keeping meticulous records of my oil consumption compared to my fuel consumption the average ratio works out to about 22:1. Seems a bit thick to me when mixing suggests 50:1.
So what do you think. Is it the wrong oil pump for the bike or should I just let this one go. @ 14$/US gal for 2 stroke oil I find it hard to let go but I will defer to your collective greater wisdom and or experience, John, Angelo and Kevin. If it helps, I run the bike pretty much wide open all the time.
