Trouble Shooting help: Exhaust is super loud

So I finally got my scooter back from the local community bike shop and it has been working fairly well. The only thing is that it is insanely loud now. It is one of the racing pipes but it was fine before, it was a bit louder but nothing too bad. Now it is actually painful on my ears at certain speeds and an embarrassment at low speeds while driving in the city. It is just way too loud.

Any ideas on what could have happened?

A guy here in van told me perhaps it is the angle at which it was placed back on.

Or perhaps does it need to be repacked?
