I'm sure of it.
Riding the D down Groat Rd. It falters ever so slightly as I go gently side to side through the corners. Sure enough, the road straightens out and 1/4 way across the bridge I run out of fuel. I am not yet confident enough on the D to turn around and reach back and switch to reserve while in motion. So, full stop, flip the lever, flood the carb and kick it back to life.
Nip home and it takes four litres. Darn, it has the same size tank as Crushed. I was hoping for a bit more. She's running rich but it's breaking in so that's OK.
Progress I guess. It drove off the bridge this time.
There's a troll under the bridge

Ran it flat out all the way across the bridge up the Groat Road hill. Hit the kill switch and the throttle at the same time. Coasted into my driveway and waited for it to cool down. Pulled the plug and it isn't rich! White as a newborn's bottom.
Bumped the main up to 120 from 110 and we'll try it again tomorrow.
