Ain't no progress like slow progress

Post by jbcollier »

I have been busy all winter. And not just busy, but flat-out, pedal-to-the-metal, hell-bent-for-leather busy. As a result, Orange Crushed is still in a state of disrepair.

Thankfully this week I put two major community league projects to bed. Lots more to go but at least I have bit of breathing room.

Today I finally got around to working on Crushed again. As I think I have told you already, she's going to be a real bitsa this year as I have hopped the engine up even more and am, slowly, changing it over to a 90ss clone.

Part of the engine mods was a race clutch and PK XL clutch cover (geared pushrod). Naturally it wouldn't just bolt on and required a fair bit of clearancing and coaxing. Next I got the ss headset on and hooked up the clutch cable.

Lots more to do.

Just get a quickshifter on that thing and be done with it. But in all seriousness, very impressive stuff.
