Insurance?

Post by nick »

I searched the forum, but there was no recent relevant data. Who is everyone insured through at the moment for their vintage scoots? My auto insurer(TD) will not insure any motorcycle over 30 years old. I've contacted Blue Circle to get a quote as I was initially with them years ago.

I use Dalton Timmis Group in Calgary for one of my bikes and they are fair.

I'm with Nordic Insurance from Calgary through a broker here in town. It's like 350 a year for me with no previous experience.

I contacted Angelo's suggested place. Lady I spoke with was really nice, they quoted me $207. I've been riding since '07 and its fairly basic coverage, which I'm ok with. My Derbi costs about the same. Probably going to set that up tomorrow. I doubt it gets any cheaper.

If my mind serves me well that is what I'm paying. Good to know that it hasn't changed much in 3 years!
