Higher altitude = less dense air = smaller jets.

We'll check our carbs and bring a range of smaller sizes. There are jet/altitude calculators online to help smooth the process.

Don't forget to add in 1000 ft elevation changes within the city itself and radical changes in temp corresponding to elevation which also changes the mix. It is a bit of an art jetting a bike here.

My driveway is at 6900 ft. Downtown is 6050. Work is 7000. My bike goes from running great to trying to eat itself alive back to running great all within a 40 minute commute. Old Colorado is even lower but worth the drive. Actually, the whole town is worth the drive. Scooter friendly and fun rides abound. I think you will enjoy yourselves.

ps. Like Johnny R said though, Sportique should have a jet that will work if yours are off. Jarrod owns a pile of lambrettas and supports a pile more.
