Sunday April 18

Post by jbcollier »

Shall we try that again? Weather looks to be warmer.

----------------

This Sunday, April 18, at noon, we will be meeting at Zucchero Cappuccino Bar & Panini Grill which is located at 8336-160 Avenue.

After replenishing our stores, we will be riding up to St. Albert in search of Trevor's mythical, amazing roads. Hopefully this will also be the start of mapping out Saturday's ride for the rally.

Hopefully the scoot starts.

I still haven't figured out where the spark plug is located or how to get to it. The manual was of no use because the directions have been translated to English and something has been lost in the translation as the diagram and directions do not match. *sigh* FML

Ron is going to talk me through it sometime this week ... (when I find some time). I think I need to become more mechanically inclined.

Thanks John! That would be awesome and I may take you up o the offer if Ron and I can't sort it out over the phone.

I should know by Thursday night if we are successful or not. I have a feeling it is really simple and I'm trying to make it harder than it should be. :?

Busy weekend, the crappy part is most of it will be spent indoors. Girls Dance festival. Brother in town from the states. Mom's 70 B-day party.
Have fun exploring. Be safe

Is this open to other scooters such as a Honda ruckus? What if we are unable to do speeds much over 60kms/h?

Why wouldn't it be open to the Ruckii (ruckus plural). It's open to lambrettas and they barely start much less do 60kph

Now, now Trevor. You must admit they'll go faster than 60 kph; quite a bit faster. For how long? That's the question there's no answer to.

Could be a week or so, might just be five minutes!

No scooting for me on Sunday. I just found out I have to voluntold on Sunday because one of the staff would like the day off. I'm told this will end soon ... I just wonder when soon is.

Have fun and hopefully I'll see you the week after with a scooter that is running.

Is the scoot alive again? Still willing to come out. If so, when would suit you?

I'm coming out if the weather stays nice (I was too tired and it was too cold last weekend, couldn't deal with both. It didn't even get above 0 out here until way late in the afternoon).

Both my bikes need some help, I think. Not sure which I'll bring... it might depend on if my parents are home that day to pick me up roadside :D
All hail Emperor Kang!

No scoot yet. I'm off to look for a spark plug tomorrow. Crappy Tire didn't carry the type I needed. I'm hoping Argyll Motor Sports has one in stock, if not then it's off to Top Gear.

Thanks for the offer, but don't wait for me. I'm working until 1:00 which means the earliest I could meet everyone at our meeting point is 2:00. I'm told that soon I will have my Sunday's back again .... I just wonder when soon is.
