Went to jump on my daily rider this morning to find it missing. It's a lovely old 1960 Lambretta Li150 S2 that I restored in 2002/3 (indeed my first resto, giving me the confidence to tackle the 900SS a year later).

Scratched head, tried to remember if I'd parked it somewhere else and not in the street outside my flat, but no, it was definitely there when I got home at 1am this morning... Called the police and they had good news: it had been reported on Wandsworth Common (about 400m from my flat) an hour earlier! Oh joy!

I quickly cycled up to the common to see if I could find it and there in the middle of the common was my scoot.

It just doesn't make sense does it.

I'll see if it can be put to rights...

(at least it wasn't the Sport or the SS...)
