She just bought a LX-150 Vespa and now she needs to get a License.
So in the Edmonton area, who is the best for Scooter Training?
Does she have to learn on a more powerful Bike with a Clutch and Gears, only to cruise around on her Scooter afterwards?
Also, how does my Wife get her Scooter to the Training area... and then to the place where she takes her test, if she doesn't have a License to get there?
Any other tips would be appreciated.
Here is her Vespa...

I'm in a similar conundrum right now, no license or registration because I need an Out of Province Inspection and hadn't had any previous experience with scooters before. I learned how to ride it around the block and then put a "Student Driver" sign where the license plate should go. Made a trip across town yesterday (round trip = 30Km) for the workshop with a supervisor in a Volvo. Does your wife have a normal or learners permit? I think one can risk getting away with having a learners and a supervisor in a car. And for the exam, you are only required to ride on your own machine, not a motorcycle. You could always try to get it into the back of a truck or equivalent.
1. you can trailer it there or back of a truck
2. have someone with a class 6 ride it there for you
3. if your wife has her class 5 or 7, then someone can follow, keep in mind the person following must possess a valid class 6. They can follow on a different motorcycle, they can follow in a car, they can even ride as a passenger on the motorcycle. (might not be best though)
If your supervisor does not have their class 6, $200 fine and 2 demerits.
