You are not going to believe this but I brought both Orange Crushed and the Duck to the Police sound check today and they both passed!
They measure at idle and at 2000 rpm. Idle limit is 92 db and no more than 96 db at 2K. Both "idled" at or higher than 2000 rpm. Crushed was actually quite a bit under but the Duck was right on the wire at 91.8 db if I crossed all my fingers and toes.
Apparently Crushed was the first scooter they have ever tested.
There was also considerable operator variation and only one officer there really knew what he was doing.
Just for curiosity's sake, I reved up the Duck after it passed the test: 136.5 db... I'm going to take it to Neil's after I get the D back. That's just too loud even if it "passes".
