Ok so you may have heard that I got pulled over by Colorado Springs finest last year because I had no running lights, signals or horn on the P200.
Now being the electronics technician that I am, I figured hey, piece of cake. These have simple systems, should be easy to fix. 11 months later the simple fix has finally been done. Aaaarrrrrggghhhhh. The worst part, or one of the worst parts for there were many, was because I was so guilty about my bike being in parts all over the garage that I stopped riding everything. I am down about 75% on my usual summer mileage.
Turns out the 12 v line that runs through the foot brake switch fell off and grounded to the frame. Ugly fault in an ugly location and very ugly to find. But is was found, fixed, put back together and now the whole shebang runs like a top. Or at the very least a Lambretta wherein it doesn't want to start but once it's running it goes great.
Anyways, keep em shiny kids.
