I'll re-post some quick details here: Arrive at 11:45 AM, event is from 12 PM to 7:00 PM I'm told the best access point is 107 Ave and 95 St. we will be parked on the east side of 95 St. @ about 108 Ave. (if you can't make 11:45, come when you can, stay as long as you want.) Italian Scooters only please :)

Umm, I'm not bringing my scooter -- though I would if the parts for the D had arrived in time -- I am bringing the Ducati.

Hopefully, in time, you will all forgive me...

Hey, you know we love the "Duc". But is Orange Crush poorly?

Crushed is doing fine, thanks for asking. I just thought that there will be a number of Italian scooters there but probably not many Italian motorcycles from the sixties.

Glad you brought the "Duc" down John, it looked great and garnered a lot of attention 8) Nice to see everyone out for a fun event, on a perfect day.

A nice day it was. Couldn't ask for nicer weather i think.

Vespa's, Lambretta's, Ducati's, Alpha's, Ferrari's, weed wackers, disco music, good company, good food, and crotch rockets. What more could one ask for?

The biggest smiles generated were thanks to Angelo and "Red Bike" John giving some children the opportunity of a photo while sitting on their scoots. Well, that and the crotch rocket. While it was not a huge turn-out (short notice for the event?), there was a nice representation of Italian scooters; Angelo's and Igor's beautifully restored Lambretta and Serverta respectively; Kevin's very cool, rough and ready small frame; and an assortment of modern scooters. What more could we ask for? Yes, more Fanta, and for next year a few more scoots. :D

Check out Monday's page 7 of The Edmonton Sun for a picture of one of our very own at Viva Italia.

Hey, some short fat guy f#^&ed off on my bike!

I got some shots, but they have to be converted from RAW to TIFF so I can post. What a pleasant afternoon - great to see everyone.
