The BW Mod

Post by Gord »

So I went ahead and did it.
The BW Mod is just about complet, just a bit of minor tuning and adjusting still required to get it just right.
Replaced the exhaust with a Tecni-Gas RS II pipe, replace the 6 gram rollers with 4.5's, new Malossi kevlar belt, 4000 RPM clutch springs, raised the main jet nedle removed the pilot jet tamper proof cover, and also installed a new smoked windshield from Yamaha.
So here are some un-official performance numbers.
This bike new and un touched would hit 40KMPH normal conditions and 50KMPH in perfect no wind or tail wind conditions.
With the inital carb cam removal mod I could get her up to 60KMPH in perfect condition.
NOW WOW: This little bugeyed big tired monster will do 70KMPH in the worst conditions and is an absolute BLAST to ride.[/img]
Keep the shiney side up!
